WHAT’S DIFFERENT IN THE PLATFORM?

No comments and likes in Teacher bulletin
Every page can have a forum (if we want)
For each page we have information about the creator of the page and the last editor
New meeting tool (BigBlueButton)
Chat rooms
Different student’s login
No twinboard (but we can use a text box to upload photos of our pupils during the activities)
Some works made with some digital tools can’t be seen in pages

HOW TO CREATE A PAGE

Click on add content

Write your text

Click on create a page
Give a title
If it is a subpage, select the title of the parental page

Remember to save changes

On the right side choose who can see your page

Select “Allow” if you want to add a Forum discussion, otherwise select “Don’t allow

Click on the three vertical dots next to More option
Select Manage pages
Rearrange the pages by drag and drop
Don’t forget to save changes

Select the icon of illustration

Select “Add file”

Give a title and save

WHEN THE SYSTEM DOESN’T UPLOAD YOUR IMAGE EVEN IF YOU HAVE TAKEN ALL THE STEPS PROPERLY

Visit the page you want to edit
Use your the right button of your mouse to paste your image
Save changes

Click on view original
Use the right button of your mouse to copy your image

Click on Materials
Click on Images

Select the image you want to add in your page
Click on open file

Add the URL that enables people to see the product. Don’t add the iframe code
Use the iframe properties as in this photo
Click on ok.
Save page

DIGITAL TOOLS THAT CAN BE EASILY UPLOADED AND SEEN IN PAGES

• VIRTUAL BOARDS that can be uploaded in Pages: Padlet, Netboard.me, Wakelet, Dotstorming •EBOOKS that can be seen in Pages: Bookcreator, Genially •PRESENTATIONS that can be uploaded in Pages: Genially, Thinglink, Nearpod. •INTEARACTIVE MIND MAPS that can be seen in Pages: Mindomo •POLLS that can be seen in Pages: Tricider, Pollmaker •POSTERS: since posters can be downloaded as images, they can be created with Canva or Adobe Express •WORDCLOUDS that can be seen in Pages: Anwergarden

SOLUTION N. 1 TO EMBED WORKS CREATED BY ANY DIGITAL TOOLS

Unless you copy the iframe code in source (but if you want to add many presentations in the same page it is a bit tricky to understand where a code starts and another one ends), works created with these digital tools can be seen in Pages if we embed their links in another digital tool like Genially, Thinglink, Padlet, etc..:

GAMES made with Wordwall, Quizzlet, learning apps
EDPUZZLE,
GOOGLE EARTH PRESENTATIONS,
YOUTUBE VIDEOS, VIMEO VIDEOS
