INTRODUCTION
INTRODUCTION Strereotypes of british people are found in several cultural. Some stereotypes relate to specific ethnic groups of Britain while others are directed at British nationals in generals
WHAT IS A STEREOTYPE? Is a widely held but fixed and over simplifield image or idea of a particular type of person or thing
ABOUT ENGLAND:England is a country of the British Isles that borders Scotland and Wales. It is also a modern and multicultural artistic and commercial center. Its population has approximately 56 million people.
Humour
British humour is well knowh for its use of sarcarsm, dark comedy, and irony. Monty Rython was a famous British comedic group
TEA
Drinking tea (speciafically the more oxided black tea) is seen as a key part of British culture. Originally introduced as a luxury product in the 17th century, cheap imports from colonial India allowed its consumption to significantly increase during the second half of the 19th century
Teeth
Americans often joke about the British having bad teeth. This stereotype appears to stem from a particulary American view of a dental ranked as the fifth healthiest in the world
Lack of emotion
The British are often seen as reserved and unemotional. This perspective has benn bolstered by popular British phrases such as "stiff upper lip", which means displaying an emotionless and determined exterior in the face os hard ship; "keep calm and carry on" which was taken from a motivational poster produced by the UK government in preparation for World War II
CONCLUSION
In conclusion,British people contain many stereotypes that are usually true but there are many others that are not true, so before judging someone you don´t know you should think about opening your mind and triying to get to know them before judging them.
