Not many people in Poland speak foreign languages and the public services are not provided in other languages very often. Also the slavic languages are quite hard for learning for people who don't speak them. So the language problem is significant but it may become an inspiration for learning it.

Attitude

The attitude towards immigrants and foreigners in Poland may vary from region to region, which is common in different countries. But in Poland you are very likely to be hated by someone just for being from another country.

Money

The inflation in Poland is 16% a year so if you are an immigrant and you want to settle there you should take it into account. The salaries in Poland are decent but they still don't keep up with inflation.

If you are visiting Poland it is almost impossible to set a meeting with a doctor. All Polish residents pay a special tax which gives them an opportunity to visit a therapist. One can not see other doctors without seeing a therapist first. Some of the Poland visitors complain that they have to wait for over a month before seeing the doctor.
