Exchange School Programmes
Exchange School Programme
A student exchange program is a program in which students from a secondary school (high school) or university study normally abroad at a school from another country but they can also study at a school from their home country.
Types of exchange programmes
Types of exchange programmes
There are two types of exchange school programmes:
Short-term exchange school programme: In this type of exchange school programme the students develop their language skills, do community service and cultural activities. It lasts from one week to three months and doesn't require the student to study in any school. The students are exposed to an intensive program that increases their understanding of other cultures, communities, and languages.
Long-term exchange school programme: A long-term exchange is one which lasts six to ten months or up to one full year and in which the students attend high school or university in their host countries. Students are expected to integrate themselves into the host family, the local community and surroundings. Upon their return to their home country they are expected to incorporate this knowledge into their daily lives, as well as give a presentation on their experience.

Erasmus Plus is an all-inclusive program that covers education, training, youth and sport. Choosing to spend a semester or year abroad makes sense for students as it can enrich their education in many ways.
HOW MUCH DOES ERASMUS+ COST
Erasmus Plus doesn't have a specific price since it can change from place to place . One example of the price you are expecting to pay is in BELGIUM in Université Libre De Bruxelles where the estimated costs per month are 800€. Another example is in FINLAND University of Helsinki where the estimated price is 700-1000€.
Arcos Journeys Abroad
In Arcos Journey Abroad students can choose from active discovery, full of movement and exploration for outdoor enthusiasts, Spannish Immersion to improve their language skills and improve their culture knowledge -about their host country and cultural discovery centered arround exploring and experiencing culture in interactive ways .
What´sArcos Journeys Abroad price?
Arcos Journey Abroad is very expensive compared to Erasmus since it costs much more and lasts for a shorter period of time usually Arcos activities only last 15 days and their price goes from 2.5k to 3k euros . The activities price changes between what type of thing you want to do .
