- It makes us feel something - Music works as social and emotional support ​- It can reduce stress - It can help improve mood by increasing the production of dopamine, serotonin and endorphins (Happy hormones that produce positive feelings) - It can help patients manage pain better than medication alone - Also making music stimulates creativity and appeals to the imagination. Composing and creating music leads to discovering other possibilities, and it strengthens coping mechanisms.
