You're participating in an Exchange programme in New Zealand and your cousin, who's 21 years old, has just written an email to you saying she's thinking about going to New Zealand on a working holiday. She would like to stay for 9 months and her boyfriend is also coming. She is not sure whether she needs to apply through the New Zealand Embassy. She also needs to know when she can send her application. Write a reply to her email giving her the information she needs. (See the information in the next slide.)

Hi Paula, Great to hear from you! I'm very happy to know you're thinking about coming to New Zealand. It's an amazing place to live and work! The first thing you need to know is that you need to have at least NZ$4,200 in your account in order to apply for a working holiday visa. This visa only lasts for 6 months and you cannot keep the same job for more than 3 months. The cost of the visa is NZ$200. It's great that Jan is coming too! You can both apply for your visas online every year from the 21st of April at 10am (NZ), It's quite simple but bear in mind that Spain is 10 hours behind New Zealand!
