Content of the lesson: Healthy Habits.
-GRAMMAR: Simple present. -FUNCTIONS: Identify and describe healthy habits and good nutrition. -VOCABULARY: Related to food.
Materials:
● Copies ● Pictures ● Whiteboard and markers. ● Computer ● Internet
Objectives:
a. GENERAL: By the end of this unit, students will be able: ● To use simple present to describe a healthy lifestyle.
b. SPECIFIC: By the end of this lesson, students will be able: ● To use the vocabulary learnt related to food. ● To understand the uses of a simple present in everyday situations and give advice. ● To produce sentences using simple present in the affirmative form.

● Reading ● Writing ● Speaking

WARM UP
● Students will use Mindmeinter to create a mental map of what do you think a healthy habit is.. ● Then, the students will be sharing the mental map with your classmate.
PRESENTATION
- Students will listen to the teacher reading and explaining the topic.
- The teacher will write the vocabulary unknown on the board.
- They have got to do this activity orally. In approximately eight minutes.
WHAT IS A HABIT?
Good habits include:

● Students will be given some activities from a copy provided by the teacher. They have fifteen minutes to do it and check it all together on the board.

● Students will listen to the teacher reading the text. The reading will be stopped twice or three times, comprehension questions will be made and new vocabulary will be written on the board to check their meaning. ● They have got to do this activity orally. In approximately eight minutes. POST- READING ● Students will complete a TRUE/FALSE activity related to the reading. ● They have got to do this activity orally and individually in approximately five minutes.
PRODUCTION
HEALTHY HABITS VIDEO
Using the information we have learned in class, or the resources listed in the back of this packet, create a video that illustrates ways to keep yourself healthy. This will be shown at school. Your poster should include: ★ ∙ a specific healthy recommendation ★ ∙ two or three supporting facts about your recommendation ★ ∙ a relevant diagram or picture. ★ Explain what is nutrition Then, you have to explain your video. To create your video you can use POWTOON . Use different tools to make you video more appealing, so other people change their lifestyle.
