MAIN CONCEPTS:Terminal blocks are categorized into 2 different groups

  • The common type
  • Unusual or for a specific use
Basically a contact block, as its name indicates, serves to make two cables contact through it, and thanks to this it protects us from harming ourselves. And if there is a breakdown or if there is a change in our circuit, it makes it easier for us to extract and change the cable.

MAIN CONCEPTS:The commun type

  • Srew-in, spiring-loaded, barrier, pluggable, tab-connector, push-fit and IDC.

The unisul type or block specific

  • Thermocouple, fused and multi-level (let's not forget the grounding block)
And most contact blocks are placed on the DIN rail, which is basically a metal plate screwed together.

Yeah!

Next question

IDCs can now be wired with stranded cable

Yes since always

Cannot be used for stranded cable.

Yes but it could not be used with braided cable

What type of block does not go to a DIN rail?

The barrier

The IDC

The grounding

What advantage does the fuse terminal block have?

that runs on batteries

No need for external overcurrent protection

The light indicates that it is active

Yeah!

THE END

Oh no!
