What is it?
hackers is when a user has a unauthorized access to data for example personal information, classified information etc. They do this without any morales, they only do this for fun but hacktivists they do the exact same actions as the hackers but they do this with a morale reason
What do they use to perform this action?
they use different types of technological devices such as Computers, tablets etc. Then they use a special type of computer code that is able to hack into any account
How to detect hackers
Real-life examples
why do they do this ?
There are real life examples of hackers such as Kevin Mitnick. he is able to hack his way into stealing computer codes from a number of high-tech companies and that lead him to 5 years in prison
Hackers do this becuase they are either bored, they want to steal information or if they want to blackmail whilst the hacktivists do this for free speech or social justice
to detect hackers you will need a special types of software such as Intrusion Detection Systems (IDSs) or Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
