ALIMENTARY CANAL

The long tube in your body that carries food.

ANUS

The hole at the end of the alimentary canal.

DIGESTIVE SYSTEM

The organs in your body that process the food you eat.

ESOPHAGUS

The tube that connects your mouth through the throat to the stomach.

FECES

The solid waste from your body.

GASTRIC JUICE

The acid fluid in the stomach that helps digestion.

LARGE INTESTINE

The shorter part of the intestines that absorbs water and eliminates the residues of digestion.

LIVER

The large reddish-brown organ that helps in the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins.

MOUTH
