  • Secondary schools that received money from local government were to reserve 25% for children from Elementary Schools.
  • Children were chosen for scholarships through an examination.
  • Introduced scholarships for children from poor families.

The Education Administrative Provision Act of 1907

1- School for all; therefor the fees were abolished. 2- Split betwwen primary and secondary education at age of 11 (eleven). 3- Established a new system "The Tripartite System" ( grammar, secondary modern and secondary technical schools). 4- Raised leaving age to age 15 ( raised to 16 in 1972 and to 18 in 2015). 5- Established Ministry of Education and appointed Ellen Wilkinson as the first Minister of Education. 6- It gave power to the Secretary of state instead of Local Education Authorities.

4-Private schools do not have to follow the national curriculum.

1-The National Curriculum introduced by Kenneth Baker, which is a set of subjects are taught and standards that children should reach in each subjects, used by primary and secondary school, and it ia organised into blocks of years called "Key Stages".

3-The subjects taught are English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, ICT, ART, PE ( Physical Education), RE ( Religious Education) and PHSCE ( Personal Health, Social and Citizenship Edu3cation).
