What are adjectives? An adjective describes a person, thing, idea or situation.

--ING Adjectives Used to describe the characteristics of a person, thing or situation. Example: - My brother is annoying. I don't like his jokes. - The test was confusing. I didn't understand anything. - It is amusing when someone laughs at their own jokes.

--ED Adjectives Used to describe emotions, how a person feels or feelings Example: -She has been annoyed at her brother for a long time -The teacher was confused by the answer. - The comedian is so funny! My parents are amused.
