1. In your opinion what are the most important principles in materials development, you need to explain their importance in your own words. R// For the creation of materials there are many methods and implements with which new designs and study materials can be developed, next, we will see some of the basic principles that I consider are fundamental for the creation of design: • Be familiar with the theme to be developed: this will help us present and convey clear opinions. • Planning: It helps us to plan what we want to create, the resources that will be used and how the creation will be executed. • Synchronization with the topics to be discussed. On the other hand, creativity, experience and having prior knowledge of what you want to achieve with the material to be created, play a very important role as this will allow us to explore and create the material. • Developing With the basic principles mentioned above, I consider that a good material can be created.

These are some of the examples of authentic materials • Music • Radio • Games • Images • Websites They are authentic materials that help to acquire knowledge autonomously, where they allow language students to investigate, analyze and interact with the language they want to learn.

What are non-authentic materials? Name at least 5 examples of non-authentic materials.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of using non-authentic materials in the class?

Advantage:

  • One of its advantages is that the information provided in these tools can be modified, with the aim of better teaching.
  • It can be equal to the level that the person is
  • Activities done by the teacher or superior
  • The student can self-assess their abilities
Disadvantage:
  • A single methodology is used
  • It is little close to the real content
  • Few idiomatic phrases are used
