What is a neural network?

The Fundamentals

An artificial neural network is based off of the human brain, a natural neural network. From input to Output a neural network is comprised of nodes which carry YES or NO decisions which hold certain weights. Neural networks are given data, which they classify, and then use to identify patterns and constantly improve accuracy in predictions.

Data Prediction

Data prediction is one of the main uses of Neural Networks. From the stock market to detecting irregularities in the brain. Neural Networks will go on to influence the future of our finances and health.

Neural Networks can be used for the growth and management of the economy. Neural networks are used for the future projection of energy dependancy of Turkey. Energy dependancy is the extent at which an ecnomy relies on imports for its energy demands.

Neural Networks can also be used for Cyber Security. Viruses or general malware will have patterns of code and algorithms which can be read and detected by Neural Networks. From that information, more advanced algorithms and security can be created to combat those threats.
