1. PAST SIMPLE
TO BE
REGULAR VERBS: AFFIRMATIVE
- I played football yesterday. We washed the dishes after lunch.
- He arrived at school late last Monday.
- ¡¡¡¡Ojo a la ortografía!!!!!
IRREGULAR VERBS: AFFIRMATIVE
She wrote a beautiful poem. We left home early.
NEGATIVE
TO BE)SUJETO + DID + NOT + VERB.SUJETO + DIDN'T + VERB.I didn't play football yesterday. He didn't write to me yesterday.
QUESTIONS
- DID + SUBJECT + VERB.
- Did you play football yesterday?
- Did he arrive late at school last Monday?
- Did we wash the dishes after lunch?
