How to deal with objections: a refresher
Impactful communication
- Mirror the language and communication style
- Hooks to engage (promotions, research endeavors etc.)
- Familiarity – is there a link between yourself and the researcher?
- Scarcity in the final follow-up (reminder deadlines)
Build your response
- Breakdown your response by addressing each objection
- Include informative links (but not too many)
- Show some personality!

Journals are broad in scope and represent the whole community of a discipline, each section is comparable to a journal in its own right
Greater inter-disciplinarity
A broader umbrella journal allows for greater inter-disciplinarity and fosters exchanges and networks within the community
Higher Submissions
Frontiers journals attract a high number of submissions: more editors mean more specialisms and greater scholarly care of the articles
