7.Organ

Subatomic particles

A subatomic particle is a particle that composes an atom.

Atoms

Basic units of matter and the defining structure of elements

Molecules

A group of atoms bonded together.

Organelle

A subcellular structure that has one or more specifics jobs to perform in the cell.

Cellular level

Is the level of cells, the most basic structural units of the human body.

Tissue

Groups of cells that have a similar structure and act together to perform a specific function.

Organ

A self-contained group of tissues that perform a speficis funcuion in the body.

System

A collection of organs that work together to achieve a certain goal. Ex: nervous system

Organism

A single-individual, or being. Ex: Animals

Population

A distinct group of individuals.

Species

A group of living organisms consisting of similar individuals capable of exchanging genes or interbreeding. Ex: giraffes

Community

A social unit with commonality such as norms, religion, values, customs or identity.

Ecosystem

A biological community of interacting organisms and their physical environment. Ex: ocean

Biosphere

A global ecosystem composed of living organisms and the abiotic factors from which they derive energy and nutrients.
