STEP 3: RECIPE AJIACO COLOMBIANO
To start with, In a large pot, place the chicken, corn, chicken broth, cilantro, onions, garlic, salt and pepper. Second, add the water and boil, then reduce heat to medium and cook for 30 to 35 minutes, until chicken is cooked and tender. After that, remove the chicken and place in another plate. Meanwhile, Continue cooking the corn for about 15 more minutes. Put away the onions and then add red potatoes, white potatoes, and the guascas. Cook for 15 more minutes. Afterwards, Uncover and add the frozen papa criolla and reduce heat for 15 minutes, add salt and pepper to your taste. At the end, Cut the chicken meat into small pieces and return to the pot. Serve the Ajiaco with capers and heavy cream on the side.

Estudié y aprendí cada una de las temáticas sugeridas para esta actividad, lo cual me permitió profundizar los conocimientos previamente adquiridos durante la secundaria y en el curso inglés A1, lo cual generó un aprendizaje significativo. Respecto a la participación en el foro, he sido puntual, cumpliendo con los tiempos establecidos con el fin de obtener la retroalimentación correspondiente para mejorar mi trabajo, sin embargo, este ha sido el único espacio donde he participado ya que no he tenido la oportunidad de participar en grupos de atención sincrónica o los CIPAS. En cuanto lo aprendido en esta tarea, como mencioné anteriormente, algunos de los temas como Pasado simple y pasado progresivo los trabajé en el curso Inglés A1, esta tarea me ha permitido practicar mediante la realización de los ejercicios, lo cual considero es muy importante en el aprendizaje de un nuevo idioma, llevar a la práctica lo aprendido en diversos contextos, además, aprendí a hacer un mejor uso de los adverbios de frecuencia, identificando el uso de cada uno dependiendo de la regularidad con la que se realiza la actividad que estoy describiendo. Definitivamente considero que sí es importante lo que estoy aprendiendo ya que lo puedo utilizar en la vida cotidiana, al hablar de actividades en pasado o describir la frecuencia de una actividad, asimismo el aprendizaje adquirido en esta actividad aporta mucho a mi vida ya que varios de los artículos académicos se encuentran en inglés, por lo que el fortalecer las competencias en este idioma me permitirá alcanzar una mejor comprensión de los mismos.
