Co-op is a social enterprise that is owned by their members.
They created an equal colleague experience therough diversity and inclusion.
They support causes such as; sustainabilty, the enviroment, responsible sourcing and ethical trading. They were the first to introduce Fairtrade products in 1992, and have continued ever since.
OBJECTIVES
HISTORY & FOUNDERS
Like all businesses they aim to be commercially successful but what they do with that success makes them different.
The co-op has it's origins in the cooperative consumer societies started by the Rochdale Pioneers in 1863
PARTNERSHIPS
They are in partnership with The One Foundation to invest in clean water, sanitation and hygiene projects.

They encourage other businesses to follow their lead and help build a more equal society
They exist in all areas of business from grocery to healthcare and energy
