What do we use it for?

For:

  • An Action or condition.
  • Universal truths.
  • A rutine
  • Future time*

The present simple has two basic auxiliaries: Do and does Do is used for: I, you, we and they Does is used for: He, she and it

Affirmative of He, she, it Subject + verb + s/es/ies + complement

Affirmative of I, you, we or they.Subject + verb in present + complement

Ex: She plays with you.

Ex: I play with you.
