make a plan
Start with the focus or the most important people in the picture: What are they doing? What is happening? Describe how they look like and what they are wearing.
Where are these people? What can you see around them? Take a moment to describe the objects around them and if you think there is a connection between them and the people.
What do you think about the picture? Do you think they are having a good/bad time? Why? Based on the information you have mentioned, guess what the context of the picture is and give reasons.
Describe what you can see IN the background (or AT the back) or ON the left/right. This is not the focus of the picture but it is important to describe what else appears in the picture.
To close off, you should mention if you think the picture was taken during the day or at night and how you think the weather is. You should give reasons; for example: the clothes people are wearing (if they are wearing flip flops and t-shirts, it is probably a warm/hot day.)
