In today's activity:

• We are going to watch a brief video of an interview from a TV News Channel.

• But before, I'm going to show you a picture of the interviewee and ask a few questions.

She has been a lot in the media recently. Do you know why?

Jennette McCurdy rose to fame playing the role of "Sam" in the TV show iCarly from Nickelodeon. After a successful career as an actress, she quit in 2017, and decided to pursue writing and directing instead.

She recently published a book called "I'm Glad My Mom Died", a memoir of her life where she talks about the struggles she faced as a child actor, growing up with an abusive mother, the things she went througth while working at Nickelodeon, and much more.
