This presentation will detail how Leeds ISC complies with GDPR
In the UK, as in other European Union countries, we have to follow the General Data Protection regulation (GDPR). The ISC will not give information about a student by telephone or email to anyone who does not have permission to receive it. Written permission will always be sought from students before giving details about their progress and attendance to parents or guardians.
There may be circumstances (in which a student’s life or health is threatened) in which the usual need to get permission before giving information to parents or other individuals (such as those named as emergency contacts, or medical personnel) is not required.
The information that you provide to us as part of your registering with Study Group and as part of UKVI requirements will be kept according to Study Group’s policy on data holding and data protection.
