Module Summary
'To assist students in understanding what is required and expected of them in university, and answer any questions or concerns students may have about all aspects of university life.' - Leeds ISC Student, 2022
The Progression and Student Success module primarily focuses on enhancing knowledge on important welfare topics, as well as employability, study skills, and transition to higher education in the UK. This will be delivered as an hourly session every week, which will be a part of your timetable. As a student, you are expected to attend all of the sessions as attendance is mandatory and monitored. You are also expected to fully participate and engage with the topics and tasks. Throughout the year, you will be completing a Personal Development Plan (PDP) and also Employability Logs which will be delivered through an online platform, bulb.

Module objectives can be viewed as the building blocks of the module
Learning outcomes are measureable achievements that students will be able to understand once learning is complete
Identifying skill gaps and developing these skills through the process of learning
Personal Development Plans & Employability Logs
Your Skills for Success In this module, we aim to promote 11 of the main transferable workplace skills that help you to succeed in the world of work, and make you more attractive to potential employers. These skills will also help you to succeed in your studies and achieve higher grades.
Your Goals It is important to continuously improve your knowledge, skills, and experience in order to achieve success in your education, career and personal life. By creating a Personal Development Plan, you provide yourself the structure and guidance you need to be proactive and take the steps that you need to reach your goals.

'Our Progression Journey' Project
A reflection of yourself
The 'Our Progression Journey' project will take place in the form of a group presentation of your own choice of delivery, which you will present to your peers and PASS coach. By the end of the project, you should have a better understanding of the skills you possess and where they will apply in the future, as well as what skills you may need to build upon.
- Understand and explain the skills you have gained at Leeds ISC
- How these skills will help you to progress onto your progression degree
- What career pathways you are preparing for
