End of Paleolithic age was met with Ice Age-long period of extreme cold
Ice Age began when thick sheets of ice moved across parts of Europe, Asia, and North America
To survive, humans had to change how they did things. They learned to build stronger shelters and make warm clothing using animal furs
D. Neolithic Age
Historians call the period after Ice Age the Neolithic Age
During this time, people shifted from hunting and gathering their food to staying in one place to grow and produce their own food known as Agricultural Revolution
This revolution created civilizations that had a monarchy, social class, jobs, wealth and power.
Religion played a huge role. Writing and art became important methods of communication and enjoyment
