MONEY GRABBERS
- Can you think of artists that fit this category?
- Is this RIGHT AND fair on other talented artsits?
TRUE ARTISTS
- Can you think of artists that fit this category?
- Should they adjust to the current music climate?
The inbetween
Live shows
talented artists
- Artists with a balance of both...
- What is the perfect balance between money grab and true art?
Diversity of talent
overcrowded market?
Mainstream charts are dominated with similar sounding music, as artists try to replicate what is popular and what is selling. Does this give a fale impression of limited talent as many try to replicate a popular sound? There is diversity in music genres but is the industry overcrowded with not as talented individuals trying to imitate popular sounds?
What do you think?
True art never fades...but can be used for later gains
- True art is timeless and is still listened to years and years later
- Is artists using samples of these timeless songs fair?
- Is this a show of less talent or more creativity to play around with an exsisting song?
My opinion
Talent is important
Social Media
Win Win
Can care for both
You will get nowhere in the industry without some degree of it and with many new coming artists this shows that talent is important
Social media didn't exsist in a time of buying records at shops but is a great tool to promote music and emerging talent
Whilst its obvious the money opporunities in the industry an artisit can strive for this alongside producing great music
From constantly working on your talent more money opportunities can arise
THANKS!
