This presentation is about the recruitment process at Perrett Laver. I will explain the different individuals involved in the process and how Ezekia is used.

This process is the same throughout each secotr.

Who is involved in the process?:

The recruitment process consists with four individuals;- Consultants. - Project managers. - Project coordinators. - Researchers. These individuals have different jobs/responsibilities within the process, but all of them have the same goal of filling a position by hiring the right person for the job. Due to the shared goal, it is more of a vertical hierarchy rather than horizontal.

What is Ezekia?

Everyone at Perrett Laver has access to Ezekia but use it for different reasons and in different ways.

This is an online executive search portal. It stores information about client and candidate projects. It makes it easy to track how far a candidate/project is.

Reaserch Associate

A researcher will map out potential candidates, have conversations and support them with writing CVs and cover letters. The researcher will have a weekly catch-up meetings with their consultant to ensure the consultant understand the details of the project. Ezekia is used to find potential individuals using LinkedIn and other search platforms. The researcher would transfer all the details about a candidate (career history, CV and contact information) into a file that everyone in Perrett Laver can access.

“ I help place strong individuals within non-executive positions within sport organisations”. – Ikem N (Sports Research Associate).

Consultants

A consultant pitches the projects and briefs the client on the process. The consultant organizes weekly catchup meetings with their researchers to be updated on the process, allowing them to be fully informed to communicate with the client. The consultant deals with both the client and candidates. Ezekia is used to view the progress of a projects and can delete candidates from the projects, if required.

Project Coorindators

A project coordinator is to support the project management team with the executive search process. This could be heling with proposals and organizing reference collections for placed candidates. Ezekia is used to upload new opportunities that consultants are pitching, converting pitches into live assignments, uploading job information and contract details.

What does a project coordinator do? How is Ezekia used?

“I work closely with the project management team, across all practices, to provide crucial support to all aspects of the executive process; right from the initial proposal production to win work, all the way to closing projects when candidates are placed”. – Sophie Moss (RTI Project Coordinator).

A project manager handles the administration and logistics throughout the recruitment process. The diary is the project managers responsibility while completing any tasks to help and doing paperwork. Ezekia is used to add new jobs, clients and candidates. The project is updates on Ezekia at each stage, adding all the relevant information and notes. The successful and unsuccessful candidates are also highlighted.
