Transforming our regular activities into a free power generation plan, using the principle of electromagnetic induction.
our project idea
The power generator electromagnetic suspension system is a system that converts vehicle bump generated linear motion & vibration, into electricity to be used in battery charging. General vehicle shock absorbers are used to simply absorb this energy without converting it to electricity. So here we put forth a way to use this free energy and store it for further needs such as vehicle lights, cooling, indicator lights etc. To achieve this we here use the principles of electromagnetism in order to generate electricity from this motion. Thus our group puts forward a smart power generation system using electromagnetic suspension system.

our bigger vision
A large amount of energy is wasted by the vehicles on the speed breakers through friction, every time it passes over it. Energy can be produced by using the vehicle weight and speed. So here we propose a smart speed breaker that generates power. The reciprocating motion of the speed breaker is converted into electricity using electromagnetic suspension system in the speedbreakers. We design a smart speed breaker that can pass vehicles coming from both sides and yet generate energy from it. The spring mechanism is used to drive the speed breaker back into original position while also generating electricity. This mechanism is very economical and easy to install. By doing proper arrangements we may generate high power electricity from road traffic.
APPLICATIONS OF DERIVED ENERGY
With power generating speedbreaker with electromagnetic suspension we can use the generated energy in different ways like street lighting,advertising displays, telephone booths, toll plazas, etc.
reasons to take initiative
1) The amount of electricity requirement is increasing day by day. 2) We know that the resources for power generation are limited. 3) The energy crisis. 4) The increasing power demand results reduce in conventional resources for power generation. 5) Increase in the polluting emissions. 6) It is a need of time to think about non-conventional energy resources which are eco-friendly. 7) To minimise the emission of greenhouse gases.
