Partnership with the Athlete Friendly Education Erasmus+ project. Based on scientific research this project focusses on helping athletes in making choices during their dual career by rewarding Athlete Friendly Education with an award. Educational institutions that create/ further develop an 'athlete friendly' environment are eligible to be recognised for this by receiving an award. Read more.

Mental support for crisis-transitions

in cooperation with The Adecco Group

(Ex-)topsporter kunnen doorverwezen worden naar een multidisciplinair netwerk van experts. In dit netwerk zijn ook artsen (waaronder psychiaters), psychologen en coaches opgenomen. Topsporters die tewerkgesteld zijn/waren bij Sport Vlaanderen hebben dankzij het Sociaal Fonds Sport, toegang tot een reintegratiebudget waarmee ze kunnen samenwerken met experten inzake mentale gezondheid.Voor meer info contacteer Carrièrebegeleiding.

Topsporters die onder contract zijn/waren of die in een prestatieprogramma zitten/zaten (top 8 mondiaal), kunnen bij Sport Vlaanderen tot 2 jaar na het beeïndigen van hun topsportcarrière in aanmerking komen voor een begeleidingstraject bij Carrièrebegeleiding+. Andere topsporters kunnen mogelijks beroep doen op Loopbaanbegeleiding Topsport.
