Bare infinitive

• They help us to give instructions in order.

E.g. First, then, after that and so on

• They are verbs in bare infinitive that give instructions.

E.g. Walk, take, turn, go and so on.

• Help us to identify the location of a place in the city.

E.g. Near, next to, by, across from

Prepositions of place

The park is on the second avenue, next to the school.
