SIMPLE PRESENT
WHAT IS SIMPLE PRESENT?
The simple present is a verb tense. We use it when an action is happening right now, or when it happens regularly.
- El Salvador is the smallest country in Central America.
- Cerro El Pital is the highest point in the country,
- Fernando goes to the gym every weekend.
- I eat lunch every day at 1:30 p.m.
- She reads a book every night.
- I feed my cat before leaving home.
- The airplane from El salvador leaves every

WHEN TO USE SIMPLE PRESENT:
For activities that happen regularly in the present.
Present simple to talk about facts.
To talk about habits.
Subject + do/ does + not + verb + cExamples:
- He doesn´t drive a car.
- It doesn´t run fast.
- We don´t work in a restaurant.
Subject + verb (s/es/ies) + complementExamples:
- I play soccer every day.
- She reads a book in her room.
- They go to the beach.
