VS
Poor areas
After 1950, the gap between the poor and the rich got smaller and smaller. However, there are still areas that are not as developed as others. These images are what a typical "poor" villiage would look like.
Middle-class areas
After 1950, the gap between the poor and the rich got smaller and smaller. However, there are still areas that are not as developed as others. These images are what a typical "middle-class" town would look like.
Rich areas
After 1950, the gap between the poor and the rich got smaller and smaller. However, there are still areas that are not as developed as others. These images are what a typical "rich" city would look like.
Korue
Korue is the capital city of Etrya. It is the largest residential area and has a population of 12.3 million. Although it may not look it, Korue is the most technologicly advanced city in the world. It is home to 5 government controlled labs that are focused on the development and future of Etrya.
Conclusion
Poorer or less developed countries often do not get the same respect as advanced ones such as the USA or European countries. Middle eastern countries may have a high GDP but in most countries there, development in low. This is because wealth is not equally shared. Their high GDPs mostly come from supplying the world with natural oil and gas. This is why I decided to locate my country in the Middle East and investigate how a previously under-developed country became the richest in the world through a new power source. Etrya eventually becomes corrupt and stops supplying energy to the world. However, Etrya manages to close the gap between rich and poor as much as possible and provides the world's best education to it's people. Changing the reputation and expectations of under-developed countries forever.
