Your master gland 2nd class
Your most important endocrine gland—the pituitary gland—is a tiny sl structure (about the size of a pea) located at the base of the brain. This “master eland”: secretes hormones that control other endocrine glands, such as the thyroid and adrenal glands. Tt also secretes a hormone called growth hormone, hich causes your body to grow. Look in the mirror and count slowly to ten. You do not look any different, but you are. Your bones grew a little longer; your muscles grew, too; and you have more skin cells than when you started counting. At your age, you are continually growing.
