What Has Been Said In the Past

  • Extensive reading, according to Day and Bamford (2004), is a method of language instruction in which students read a lot of simple content in the target language. They also mentioned that kids can select their own reading materials based on their interests, providing them with personalized reading enjoyment. In extensive reading environment, students are stimulated to read for the text's entire significance,
  • Reading comprehension is the essence of reading, according to Duffy (2009), because we are not reading if we do not understand the information.
