„The digital transformation is taking place regardless of whether we are directly or indirectly involved in it and whether we are interested in it. Consequently, the acquisition of digital competencies is undoubtedly becoming more important. It is crucial that higher education is involved and interested in digital transformation and that it is one of the drivers.“ Mikus Dubickis, Ph.D., Assistant professor, and researcher at Riga Technical University, Head of Quality at RISEBA University of Applied Sciences
“One of the key professional competencies that I, like many of our colleagues, have been developing in the last two years is digital competence. It was a big enough challenge at the beginning of the pandemic when the University faculty, students, and the University's social partners lacked knowledge on how to organize lectures remotely, how to involve students, how to organize student teamwork, how to communicate when systems are disrupted, and, finally, organize and conduct student assessments. ... at the dissemination event of the MUST project, I heard a lot of new, interesting things and learned how I can apply IT tools in my academic and other various daily activities.” Prof. HP dr. Rūta Adamonienė, Mykolas Romeris University, Public Security Academy, Director of the Institute of general and social competences

Assoc. Prof. Živilė Stankevičiūtė, MUST project manager, Kaunas University of Technology, Lithuania
“A clear message about the general project idea and the dissemination of project results are of the highest importance for the stakeholders while implementing a project. Each project is not just about the cooperation between partners and project meetings. The added value the projects’ intellectual outputs provide for social partners and other project target groups are more important. Therefore, the dissemination of the project results plays a crucial role while addressing project implementation. On 18th of May, 2022 the multiplier event of MUST project was carried out in Kaunas (Lithuania). The discussions during presentations and coffee breaks revealed that multimedia competence is still in high demand among academia, NGO’s, students, and other social partners of University.”
