The Group

The group was created in the year 1967 and it was composed with John Fogerty, Doug Clifford, Stu Cook and Tom Fogerty. The group was called like that because they changed the name of the group when John and Doug finalized the military service.

The song

Fortunate Son

The song talks about a young American that had to enlist to the army forcefully while there was a war in Vietnam and also criticizes that only the innocents and the poor go to war.

Chorus

My Opinion

In my most honest opinion I think that this song is incredible in a lot of ways. Its not only a very good song, but it also describes very well the injustices of war and it has become the most representative song of the Vietnam War.

American Football

American Football, is a team sport played by two teams of eleven players on a rectangular field with goalposts at each end. In the offense, the team with possession of the oval-shaped ball, attempts to advance down the field by running with the ball or by passing it, while in the defense, the team without possession of the ball, aims to stop the offense and take control of the ball.

History of American Football

American football was originated in the USA by combining both soccer and rugby. It was created in 1869, but it became more popular in the 1960-1970s with the creation of the National Football League (NFL) and one of the most important championships in the USA, the Super Bowl.
