Marvin Pentz Gay, Jr. or better know as Marvin Gaye was born on April 2, 1939 in Washintong D.C and died in Los Angeles, April 1, 1984. Marvin was an American musician, producer and singer of soul, smooth soul, quiet storm, blaxploitation, nicknamed "The Prince of Soul".
