The Sentence

Sentences need three things... They need a subject ( A doer or main thing being spoken about), a verb (action or verb of being) and they MUST express a complete thought. A simple sentence expresses one main thought.

+ info

End punctuation for sentences include periods, question marks, and exclamation marks. We use periods (.) at the end of a declarative sentence (sentences that tell information) or at the end of a command. We use question marks at the end of interogative sentences (questions) and exclamation marks are used to express strong emotion (!).
