DESCRIPTION OF THE COURSE
The school's name is Centro Lestonnac Compañía de María, is private, high level education, located in Los Cerezos neighborhood, face - to face encounter, a lot of technological tools in the classrooms, economical stratification 3, from primary to high school, there were 35 students in the class, levels from A1 to A2, likes to the speaking and listening habilities (the most important) and dislikes to the reading and writing habilities, a great school with great teachers and students

THE DIRECT METHOD
The direct method of teaching was developed as a response to the Grammar-Translation method. It sought to immerse the learner in the same way as when a first language is learnt. All teaching is done in the target language, grammar is taught inductively, there is a focus on speaking and listening, and only useful ‘everyday' language is taught. "I have never felt that there was any ground for smug complacency with respect to the so-called "old method" of teaching modern languages. I have also been afraid of the direct method because it seemed extravagant" (Skidmore, 1917)
