Love Poems
Channel your inner romantic poet and write a total of four poems. Each poem should be written from the mindset of one character professing their love/feelings for another character.
Elements for Success!
- Each poem should be at least 3 stanzas with at least 4 lines per stanza.
- Make sure your poem accurately reflects the feelings in the play and uses details from the play.
- Include at least one example of figurative language in each poem.
Comic Strip
- Select three scenes from the play and create a three panel comic strip for each. You may choose to depict scenes from any part of the play.

- Comic strip accurately portrays the scene from AMSND (setting, dialogue, character actions
- Includes dialogue (at least one direct quote in each comic) and a title for each comic strip.
- Comic strip may be created digitally or by hand on paper
Soundtrack
Make a playlist of five songs to reflect each act of the play. The chosen songs should connect to the theme, characters, plot, conflicts, or mood of the act. Write up your song list and provide a description of how each song/poem relates to the story you chose.

- Full paragraph explanation of how each song connects to the elements of the play.
- Uses specific details and evidence from play to support song choice.
- Quote from song embedded in explanation.

The following examples are often used as metaphors for life. Select five characters from the novel and explain which metaphor they would select to describe their lives.

Your reflection should answer the following questions:
Why do you think Shakespeare's plays are used so often in present-day TV and film? Research and compose a list of five movies, tv shows, or songs that are based on or allude to Shakespeare's plays. Provide a summary of the work and its connection to Shakespeare. Which one would you want to watch the most? Why? Think about the themes in A Midsummer Night's Dream. What themes and plot elements make the play relatable for the audience?
