Más cosas que debes saber
1.- Se pueden usar otros conectores diferentes a IF
If Mike doesn’t hurry up, he will be late
Unless Mike hurries up, he will be late
- Unless = If + not
equivalen a "pero solo si" (but only if), "siempre que".
- As long as, provided (that), providing (that)
Son más usuales en el primer tipo de oraciones condicionales
You can take my computer as long as you use it carefully. Providing that there isn't much traffic, we'll go by car. Provided the weather is good, we'll go to the mountains.
Ejemplos
2.- Inversion
Se trata de invertir el orden sujeto - verbo y se puede dar en todos los condicionales, pero es más frecuente en el tercer tipo
