Hadean - The solar system was forming.

Proterozoic - First bacterias come to life

Cambrian - Produced the most intense burst of life ever known

Archean - The earth crust cooled

Mississipian - Sea lilies dominated the seas and reptiles, along with ferns, appeared on land

Silurian - The evolution and diversification of fish

Ordovician - The oceans were filled with invertebrates of many kinds

Devonian - Two major animal groups colonized the land

Pennsylvanian - The evolution of terrestrial plants and animals had advanced to the point were true forests developed in low land, coastal sites
