Who fought in ww2?

This war was between the Axis powers:-Germany-Italy-JapanAnd the Allied powers:-Great Britan-United States-Soviet Union

What was the cause of the war

Hitler's invasion of Poland sparked the begining of the War.- This went against the treaty they made after WW1, The Treaty Of Versailles. -There was also Enconomic depression in the Area. THe rise of milatarism in germany and japan. -And lastly, the failure fo the league of nations.

Dates:

Sep. 1, 1939:Germany invades poland.

Lasted 6 years!From September 1, 1939- September 2, 1954.

Sep. 3:Britan and France invade Germany

June 22, 1941:Germany invades Soviet Union

December 7:Japan spreads the war across the pacific

1941. The japaneese bomb the U.s Navy at pearl harbor

1942:U.S navy defeats Japan at the battle of Middway

1943:U.S Troops invade Italy.

1944:Allied forces land in France for D-day invasion.

1945:U.s Bombs italy: WW2 ends

How did the soliders dress?

The soliders took alot of pride in their uniforms. It symbolized their love for their country.

what kind of weapons did they use?

THey mostly used...... -Rifles: Narrow guns for accurate prediction,could shoot about 300 yards -shotguns: used to hit small and fast-moving targets -Blades

WHat Technology did they use?

They used Radar Technology.-Atomic bombs: They used it to try to make japan surrender -Penicilin: to treat soldiers with blood poisoning and septicemia -Computers: to make accurate calculations for firing and windspeed -Pressureized cabins: For high altitude operations

What did the soliders eat in ww2?

-spegetti and meat with tomatoe sauce -chicken and vegetables -chepped ham, eggs and pototoes -Meat and noodles - ham and lima beans They drank: Torpeto juice

The outcome of the war:

-The allies won -Germany surrendered on May 8, 1945-Europe freed german occupied terrirories. - ANd stopped the invasion of Germany - Hitler committed suicide. -The countries that fought with Hitler lost territory and had to pay reparations to the Allies

Fun facts:

-The first American solider was killed by the russians.(Yet, they were on the same team)-More Chinese were killed by the Japanese during World War II than Jews in the Holocaust. -Americans called hambugers liberty steaks to aviod the german sounding word "hamburger" -Hitlers nephew served in the U.S Navy during WW2. -It was the deadliest war in history.
