AUSTRALIAN GAMES Presentation

By Mirela Johnson

This is Australia

Australia is made up of six states/territories and has a population of 26 million.

Outdoor games

Here are three interesting outdoor games!

1. WEME

The aim of this game is to knock other players balls out of a circlular hoop. You stand a few metres away from the hoop and roll a ball toward it, trying to make it land in the hoop whilst knocking opponents balls out. Traditionally, this is played with stones. (it was made up by native Australians - walpiri/walpiri people).

Taktyerra

Taktyerra

Taktyerra is very similar to dodgeball, but is not played in teams. it is a 1v1 game. That's all I have to say about that one lol... It's pretty self-explanatory if you know what dodgeball is...

Walbiri

board games from Australia
