IMPLICATIONS FOR SELF
I really appreciated the inner reflection that this program has given me. I will continue to practice this as it is the key to change.
Looking at my leaderhsip styles and compass points was eye opening. I need to keep co-creation in my heart.
I am a space hog. I need to give more space to others to show their brilliance.
I have learned so much about how white supremacy culture has influenced my life. Now it's time to unlearn.

TRAINING
We think we already do everything well and rarely look at ways to improve our practices - we don't do a deep dive into our truths.
We throw people into roles without training. We need staff wide SEL training to provide the foundations for family.
We lack leadership opportunities for BIPOC students. We also lack any system for acknowledging teacher leaders.
We want our students to find Open as a safe space for all students - but it's not always the reality. We need to provide equity and diversity training for students and staff.

INNOVATION
Researching strategies for connecting and differentiating for introverts was eye opening and needs to be illuminated as an important aspect of belongingness
Education is stuck in a rut. My hope for public education is wavering due to the lack of honest innovation in a world that has changed.
The world is too tough to just expect kids to be resilient. They want real change not coping mechanisms.
This should be a part of everything we do. We all need it more than ever. Infusing joy helps burnout for teachers and students.
