I CONSIDER CERTAIN IMPORTANT PRINCIPLES IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF MATERIALS STARTING WITH THE EXPERIENCE WITH THE STUDENTS AND THE SAME WAY OF KNOWING THEIR NEEDS. BASED ON THE ABOVE, I CAN TAKE INTO ACCOUNT AS MOST IMPORTANT PRINCIPLES IN MATERIAL DEVELOPMENT THE ABOVE:1. THE EXHAUSTIVE INQUIRY ABOUT THE OWN INTEREST OF EVERY STUDENT AS WELL AS THEIR NEEDS. (Brown, 2013; Prabhu, 1998; Underhill & Maley, 2012). THIS WILL ALLOW US TO TAKE THE STUDY IN A PRACTICAL AND DIDACTIC WAY TO MEET THE OBJECTIVE. 2. ALLOW THE KNOWLEDGE OF L2 IN EACH STUDENT IN AN INTEGRAL WAY, SEEKING TO HAVE CONTACT WITH THE LANGUAGE IN A COMPLETE WAY WHERE THE PRACTICE OF VARIOUS ACTIVITIES IS A CONSTANT FLAG. 3. EACH ACTIVITY DEVELOP MUST INCREASE THE KNOWLEDGE AND ENRICHMENT OF THE LANGUAGE , THE IDEA WITH THIS IS TO ACHIEVE SIGNIFICANT PROGRESS. 4. PREPARE THE STUDENT IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY FEEL SAFE TO DEVELOP THE 4 SKILSS IN THE LANGUAGE, DUE TO ONE PURPOSE CAN BE EMPHASIZED, BUT EVERYTHING MUST BE FULLY WORKED ON. 5. CONSIDERATION SHOULD BE GIVEN TO THE LEARNING STYLES OF EACH STUDENT, IN SUCH A WAY THAT MATERIAL CAN BE CREATED THAT IS EASY TO UNDERSTAND AND, AT THE SAME TIME, IN A STANDARD WAY ACCORDING TO THEIR LEVEL.

AUTHENTIC MATERIALS ARE PRODUCTS DESIGNED FOR NATIVE SPEAKERS TO THE SAME SPEAKERS OF THE NATIVE LANGUAGE. THE EXAMPLES OF THESE ARE NEWSPAPERS , CATALOGS , BUS SCHEDULES, PHONES, SLIDES AND SONGS. (Febrina, W. (2017). *

NON-AUTHENTIC MATERIAL ARE MATERIALS DESIGNED FOR TEACHING PURPOSES ONLY AND THIS HAS A RELATION WITH THE CURRICULUM IN THE COUNTRY. THE EXAMPLE ARE: TEXTBOOK, ROLE PLAY, GAMES, PICTURE STORIES AND CROSSWORDS.
WHAT ARE NON- AUTHENTIC MATERIALS? NAME AT LEAST 5 EXAMPLES OF NON-AUTHENTIC MATERIALS.
.ADVANTAGES * THE LANGUAGE IS EASIER AND UNDERSTANDABLE. * THESE ARE ADAPTED FOR PARTICULAR ASPECTS. *THESE ARE USEFUL FOR TEACHING GRAMMAR. DISADVANTAGES *IT IS DIFFICULT TO FIND A COURSEBOOK THAT MEETS ALL THE STUDENTS’ NEEDS.. * STUDENTS MAY FEEL BORED AS THE MATERIAL ARE PREDICTABLE. *

ADVANTAGES * IT PROMOTES DEEPER CULTURAL KNOWLEDGE. * IT PROVIDES EXPOSURE TO REAL LANGUAGE. *IT BRINGS CREATIVITY INTO CLASSROOM PRACTICE. DISADVANTAGES *IT CONTAINS DIFFICULT LANGUAGE. *IT HAS COMPLEX LANGUAGE *SOMETIMES THEY MAY TO BE TOO CULTURALLY.
