Part by part

change of variable

The method of integration by substitution or change of variable is based on the derivative of the composite function. To change the variable, we identify a part of what is going to be integrated with a new variable t, so that a simpler integral is obtained.

The method of integration by parts consists of breaking down the integral into the product of two terms that we will call "u" and "dv" and applying the formula: f u*ud=u*u-f u*du

Integration Methods

partial fractions

direct integrals

are the integrals that do not require applying any method of integration because they are very simple. For example, the integral of 2x is x2 + C, where C is the constant of integration.

Partial fractions is an integration method that allows you to solve integrals of certain rational functions that cannot be solved by other methods (direct formula, by parts, change of variable, etc.)

trigonometry

An integral is called trigonometric when its integrand is composed of trigonometric functions and constants. For its resolution, of course, the integration theorems are valid.
