The topic of movie genres is introduced. Students are asked to participate on a brief brainstorming on the movie genres they can name. We introduce the notion of certain vocabulary and sentence structure being tied to different genres. To illustrate it, a synopsis example (a model for what will be the main activity) is shown to the students.
