INTRODUCTION
Social media is all about community, conversations, building relationships and connecting with the interactive audience.
- Instagram was established in the year 2000 - Free photo and video sharing app, where people can upload photos and videos, share them with friends, family & acquaintances, view, like and comment on others posts and stories, interacting indirectly.
- With around 1.38 billion users on Instagram, there has been a degrade with the quality of communication amongst users - Social media and technology are double-edged swords - Engulfed in this world of fast communication, because of technology

Procedure: Participants were asked about their weekly average time on Instagram, and were then divided into two sets

INSTAGRAM IS A POSITIVE SPACE WHERE IT IS EASY, CONVENIENT AND HAS MULTIPLE FEATURES TO MAKE IT USER-INTERACTIVE.
- Users who can manage being social online as well as offline and have good interpersonal communication skills cannot be disturbed by the influence of social networking platforms like Instagram. - Instagram is a platform which gives you unmanageable expectations from people who do not portray their lives in honesty. - The art of conversation with a person needs to be bought back, for us to use Instagram in an un-addictive way. - Instagram is a great platform to give wings to your opinions and words, but an uncontrolled expression or uncontrolable exposure can lead to consequences.

CONCLUSION
People are becoming less communicative in real life due to the ease of communication on social media platforms, in this case Instagram. With differing perspectives about the impact of Instagram on communication, participants claim that the aspect of communication varies from person to person. People can be actively engaging and interactive on Instagram but would not prefer talking much when meeting in person. This proves the claim that not everything on Instagram can be explained and implemented on social media.
