INTRODUCTION

When the museum tours carried out by formal education institutions in Turkey are examined, activities that are mostly compressed into short periods of time and whose quality is questionable attract the attention. Some institutions carry out more regular and long-term excursions and studies in order to make these museum studies more effective and qualified, and to make them believe that museums are living and living spaces. Hasan Kalyoncu University Development Foundation Private Primary Schools, which started to provide education in the 1996-1997 academic year, has been offering different activities in order to raise museum awareness to its students since its establishment.

Within the scope of the project, a teaching plan to be carried out with the cooperation of drama, painting, music and classroom teachers was created. The aim of this project realized; Based on the objects exhibited in the Ethnography Museum, which is a museum where examples of Turkish Art from the Seljuk Period to our time are exhibited, it is aimed to give information to students about traditional Turkish art and Turkish culture, and to establish the link between these objects and current life through art.

LITERATURE REVIEW

Museums are spaces that make an individual develop from sensational, dynamic, and cognitive perspectives. Well-planned museum tours may lead to positive changes in the attitudes of visitors. Planning the museum tours, the act of using museum education packs leaves permanent traces on the user. It leads to the synchronic activation of various senses by seeing and touching the objects in the appropriate place. Consequently, museums provide methods of learning out of the classroom setting without memorizing knowledge. For his reason, Primary School Arts Activities and for other lessons such as teacher training packages that aim to take fuller advantage of museums should be prepared and offered to educationalists. The content of the packages to be prepared should be related to the outcomes of the lessons in the Schedule.
